Harumi Momota has been developing activities in the textile design, product development and training workshops in both hand-crafts and industry for over 8 years in order to create supply chains that meet strict quality controls necessary to commercialize Peruvian textile products and crafts in foreign markets, always emphasizing the value of raw materials and labor that has characterized the national culture. The organizing activities, training and development workshops are conducted by the renowned fashion designer Harumi Momota, who has extensive experience in managing production techniques, industrial and handicrafts for clothing exports and accessories made under strict quality control. Her experience includes training and management of more than five hundred craftsmen in Puno, Juliaca, Ayacucho, Tarma, Junín, Cerro de Paso, Arequipa and Cuzco. Harumi Momota´s collections have been presented at important runways such as Pret a Porter Paris, Peru Moda, Intermoda Mexico, Chile, Colombia and at business rounds representing Peru in France, Germany, USA and Japan Harumi Momota collections are being presented in important fashion shows as Peru Fashion, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, and in business conferences representing Peru in Germany, USA, Japan. Collection which is inspired by the glamour and romance of the 50's, along with all the natural-ecological trends, the return to natural and simple but with a touch of glamour, achieving an elegant and versatile fusion. A contrast inspired by the Peruvian Andes and its artists that make their knitting a prayer to life, achieving a glamorous, ecological and traditional work of Peruvian Art. The combination of our finest raw material and flagship product, the ALPACA, along with the hands of these artists create pure Peruvian masterpieces. This collection is made with much LOVE from each artist in the cities of Cuzco, Puno and Tarma; designs by me, which is a perfect example of what can be achieved if we work together and united in one sense, the LOVE for our PERU. I dedicate this collection to our artist that use their hands to make a better PERU, and to my parents, who are the engine of much inspired beauty and are the result of this wonderful collection. Our company has more than 8 years of experience working with hundreds of Peruvian craftsmen, born and raised weavers. Our raw materials are of high quality 100% alpaca and baby alpaca wool, a mixture of alpaca and silk and fine materials with 45% alpaca, 15% sheep wool and 40) acrylic fiber. |
